Concilio Nacional Catolico para el Ministerio Hispano

NCCHM was formed in 1991 as a broadly-based network to share mutual concerns with its member organizations. Given the diversity of the United States Hispanic Catholic communities such an umbrella organization is essential if the problems and possibilities of these groups are to effectively be articulated and communicated within Church and society. The main purpose of NCCHM is to serve its member organizations and help make a positive impact in Hispanic Ministry.

National Association of Hispanic Priests

Asociación Nacional De Sacerdotes Hispanos (ANSH)

ANSH es una asociacion sacerdotal, fruto de un largo proceso de maduracion y consolidacion de varias asociaciones de sacerdotes, establecida de en 1989 para fomentar la unidad, fraternidad y apoyo de los sacerdotes Hispanos en los Estados Unidos de America. Todos los sacerdotes Catolicos Hispanos residentes en los Estados Unidos tienen el derecho de ser miembros de la Asociacion. L os sacerdotes involucrados en ministerio hispano que no sean hispanos podran participar en las actividades de la Asociacion sin tener derecho a voto, como miembros asociados.

ANSH is an association of priests, the fruit of a long process of development and consolidation of various other associations of priests, established in 1989 to foster unity, fraternity, and support of Hispanic priests in the United States of America. All Hispanic Catholic priests who are residents of the United States have the right to be members of the Association. Priests who are in Hispanic ministry but who are not Hispanic are invited to participate in the activities of the Association as Associate Members. 

National Association of Hispanic Deacons

Asociación Nacional De Diáconos Hispanos (ANDH)

Organized on May 5, 1984, at the Mexican-American Cultural Center, San Antonio, Texas. Its initial purpose was to promote the initiation of Spanish-language deacon formation programs in dioceses with a significant Hispanic presence and to be an advocate in the Bishops' National Committee for the Diaconate for deacons'/Hispanic community concerns, to encourage those Hispanic deacons who do not have any local resources to take part in our yearly conference where we offer opportunities for continuing education, spiritual formation and support to each other.

The International Diaconate Centre

This organization, headquartered in Germany, conducts research and study on the diaconate around the world. The Centre maintains an excellent research library and sponsors study days and seminars on the diaconate. It is an excellent way to discover the truly universal nature of the Order of Deacons. Membership includes the opportunity to participate in these days of research and study, as well as a subscription to the Centre's journal, Diakonia Christi.

The National Association of Diaconate Directors

This organization was founded in the United States by a group of diocesan directors of the diaconate on February 6, 1976. The purposes of the organization are to serve as a documentation and resource center, to develop professional expertise, promote research, training, and self-evaluation procedures, and to facilitate communication with the Bishops' Committee on the Diaconate.
